Data Security That is Unmatched in the Indsutry
SAS 70 (Statement on Auditing Standards) is an internationally recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). A SAS 70 audit is widely respected because it demonstrates that a service organization has been through an in-depth audit of their control activities, which generally includes controls over information technology and related processes.
There are two types of SAS 70 certification, Type I and Type II. Type I outlines the procedures, policies and controls that are necessary to ensure effective performance. SAS 70 Type II is an independent audit of these procedures, policies, and controls to verify and validate that the organization is actually following them. Key areas of examination include physical access to facilities, logical access to systems, problem resolution, change management and environmental controls.
ACCUTYPE is SAS 70 Type II certified. This translates into a level of data availability and security unmatched in the transcription industry. For more information on Accutype’s data center, please visit our Data Center Web Site.
