Data Security From End-to-end
Audio files can be received in three ways: all securely transferred in a HIPAA compliant fashon, to our 24-hour Data Center in Kansas City. 1. Audio files received over the telephone go directly into the Voice Server at ACCUTYPE's Data Center. 2. Audio files from digital recorders travel through a local computer at the client site and then on to ACCUTYPE's Data Center via our file transfer software. 3. Audio files that are recorded in your EHR system can be exported and delivered directly to ACCUTYPE's Data Center. From the Data Center, audio files are routed to the assigned Medical Transcriptionist (MT) using secure transfer encryption. The MT transcribes the dictation on a Windowsdesktop using client-defined templates that are built into ACCUTYPE's Transcription System. The MT then returns the completed documents viasecure connectionto ACCUTYPE's Data Center, at which time all files are automatically deleted from the MT's personal computer. After passing Quality Assurance, the documents are made available to ACCUTYPE clients via our MyView document management application. |
